This week, we’re all about keeping our campus clean and welcoming for everyone. If you see litter in the hallways, cafeteria, or on your way to class, take a moment to pick it up and toss it in the trash.
Challenge: Pick up at least one piece of litter every day and invite a friend to join in! Let’s turn this into a team effort and show how much we care about our school environment and each other.

SMS kicked off the week with our Maroon Meeting, and it was filled with excitement! 🎉 We celebrated our amazing students by naming the Athletes of the Week—congratulations to the following standout athletes! 🏅👏

We also played our weekly Maroon Meeting Games, Viking style, in honor of Coach Keith Payne! It was a great start to the week, and we’re excited to continue this tribute to Coach Payne over the next few weeks!
Residential or day programs for rising 7th through 12th graders
Rob Andrews from NC School of Science and Math will host an informational session at Swain High School, Tuesday, September 17 at 8 am. We will be meeting in the LOBBY of the ARTS CENTER.
If you are interested in learning more about NCSSM opportunities (residential, online and/or summer) please plan to attend.
Please bring your DRIVER'S license and CHECK in at the MAIN OFFICE then come to the Arts Center lobby for the meeting
